Victoria Beckham Spring-Summer 2025

Few can master the art of making a lasting impression quite like Victoria Beckham. After all, she has built a respectable – and distinctive – fashion brand through vision, determination, and – perhaps in spite of – what was, at best, a mixed blessing: the Posh Spice tag. While it certainly gained her attention early on, it was also frequently used by fashion critics to undermine any serious fashion endeavour she made. And yes, she proved all the sceptics fundamentally wrong.

First and foremost, Victoria Beckham’s style is unapologetically feminine – not in a loud or exaggerated way, but in a cool, highly intellectual manner. And it doesn’t get much more intellectual than Greek sculpture. In this case, resin cuirasses that looked as though they were moulded directly onto the body, paired with breezy chiffon. It felt almost like strolling along the shores of the Aegean Sea (probably quoting the Stoics to the wind). Then came the most talked-about pieces in vivid green, lilac, and deep burgundy. And yes, the tailored neutrals – already a signature of Beckham’s.

Perhaps the most cerebral element came with the slits and semi-transparencies, which were as calculated as they were sensual. In recent years, nakedness has been so overexposed in the fashion industry that it barely raises an eyebrow – yet these slits and see-throughs somehow managed to captivate, drawing attention to which part of the body might be revealed with each step, whether in a slip dress, bodysuit, or tailored trousers.

And yes, the trousers. If the resin cuirasses were the highlights of the show, then the trousers – with their deconstructed waistbands and perfectly calculated leg widths – were undoubtedly its very heart.

And while we await the day when all of these pieces – especially the wool and leather ones – are available in vegan alternatives, we’ve curated a selection of statement items from our favourite vegan brands.

You’re all welcome.
