VEGETARIAN BRANDS DIRECTORY

Vegan Fashion Repository’s mission is to highlight and support brands actively contributing to a more sustainable and ethical fashion industry. While researching vegan and ethical brands, we identified a number of brands leading in material innovation and transparent sourcing. However, we could not include them in the Vegan Fashion Directory as they still use wool or silk.

After much consideration, we have created a separate Vegetarian Brands Directory to recognise their commitment to circularity, innovation, and responsible sourcing, while maintaining clarity for consumers.

Criteria for inclusion:

• Absolutely no leather, including recycled leather of any kind;
• Wool (cashmere, alpaca, yak wool, mohair): only if certified, organic, and/or verifiably mulesing- and cruelty-free, or recycled;
• Silk: only Peace Silk (Ahimsa Silk) or recycled silk.

All information is based on brands’ published statements and direct email confirmations obtained through our outreach.

The Vegan Fashion Repository remains strictly vegan-only in all editorial content and other directories.

The Vegetarian Directory exist solely to support conscious consumers choosing wool and silk responsibly and celebrates brands improving ethics, transparency, traceability, and accountability—while our ultimate goal remains a fully vegan, exploitation-free fashion system.
