The Vegan Curator: The Zero Waste Week Edit

zero waste

Let’s kick off Zero Waste Week 2026 with brands proving that vegan fashion can also be made with waste reduction in mind — from producing to order or in limited quantities, to designing products around every scrap of material and using production techniques that minimise or eliminate cutting waste.

Some also use recycled and recyclable synthetics, helping to keep materials in circulation for longer.

You’re all welcome.

Diane loafer by Agazi (Poland)

Material(s): Apple-based leather alternative, GRS-certified

About the brand: Agazi produces each season in limited quantities and adds more pieces only when there is demand, helping to reduce overproduction. Surplus materials are allocated to limited collections or incorporated into footwear as additional design elements. For example, material scraps are used to create decorative inserts for the DIANE loafer.

About the brand: Vesica Piscis manufactures its shoes only after an order has been placed. The footwear is designed without glues or adhesives, allowing the components to be fully disassembled and facilitating the recycling of materials including GRS-certified recycled cotton, polyester and rubber.
