The Vegan Curator: The Canada Edit

As we witness an unprecedented schism taking shape between two countries that share the longest borderline on Earth, our attention turns to Canada—a country home to one of the oldest and most recognised vegan brands, fashion and other sectors alike.

According to what we have gathered for the VFR Vegan Fashion Playbook, approximately 2 to 4.6% of Canadians identify as vegan. With current statistics indicating a population of 41.5 million, that equates to a community of roughly 830,000 to 1,909,000 vegans engaged in all things cruelty-free.

Now, back to Canadian vegan fashion brands. You may already be familiar with some of them or have come across them in our weekly Vegan Curator edits, as they are actively spreading the message of cruelty-free and sustainable fashion.

This week, we have selected 14 brands from our database that operate out of Canada and proudly serve as ambassadors of all that makes the country unique—dedication and perseverance.

You’re all welcome.

NOIZE

Noize has been making some real noise about cruelty-free fashion, and earning an endorsement from celebrities such as Billy Joel, Brandy, and Jon Batiste since 2010. This brand creates clothing for both humans and animals—catering to all shapes and sizes.
