VFR’s Vegan Fashion Directory Update: June 2026

men fashion brands

With every update, we continue building a resource that documents the growing world of vegan fashion and material innovation. For our June 2026 update, we are focusing on brands for men in connection with Men’s Health Awareness Month and Father’s Day, celebrated on June 21st in many countries and on June 23rd in Poland.

This month, we added 5 new brands creating vegan footwear, accessories, and clothing for men, highlighting a range of approaches to animal-free design, craftsmanship, and responsible production, and added them to the Vegan Fashion Directory.

We have also introduced a new category — Synthetic Polymers — to better reflect the diversity of materials currently available on the market. This addition provides a dedicated space for documenting silicone-, microfiber-, and polyurethane-based leather alternatives, allowing us to present a more complete picture of the evolving landscape of animal-free materials and the technologies behind them.

Within this update, we expanded Fabrics, Textiles & Chemicals Directory with 11 new leather alternatives, including 3 material blends that combine synthetic polymers with plant-based or recycled inputs, as well as 8 synthetic polymer-based leather alternatives.

Looking Beyond Categories

Fashion brands for men remain a relatively underrepresented segment within the vegan fashion landscape, despite growing interest in animal-free and more responsible alternatives. With this update, we continue to highlight brands contributing to this space while also broadening the range of materials and technologies documented across our directories.

The evolving nature of the industry is also reflected in our Online Multi-Brand Stores Directory. With a heavy heart, we removed Immaculate Vegan following the closure of its operations at the end of March. At the same time, we were pleased to welcome Shop Like You Give a Damn back to the directory after the company resumed operations, demonstrating both the challenges and resilience present within the vegan fashion ecosystem.

While our recent updates have focused largely on plant-based materials, we believe it is equally important to document the wider spectrum of animal-free innovations available today. By expanding our coverage to include synthetic polymer-based materials alongside bio-based alternatives, we aim to provide a more complete picture of how vegan fashion, materials, and technologies continue to evolve.
