With every update, we continue building a resource that documents the growing infrastructure of vegan fashion and material innovation. For the July 2026 update, we are focusing on Plastic Free July and the brands exploring lower-impact material choices, from lower-impact everyday fabrics to next-generation alternatives.
This month, we added 10 brands to the Vegan Fashion Directory. These brands work with a range of animal-free materials, including organic, recycled, plant-based, and next-generation options, reflecting different approaches to reducing environmental impact across fashion, footwear, and accessories.
As a continuation of our June update, we are also expanding the Fabrics, Textiles & Chemicals Directory with two new categories: Mineral-Based Polymers and Bio Polymers. Within this update, we added 10 new materials in total, including 5 mineral-based polymers and 5 bio-polymers.
These additions allow us to document a broader range of material developments beyond conventional synthetics and plant-based leathers, while continuing to track the materials shaping the future of vegan fashion.
