Open Day: Polish Material Innovations (Polskie Innowacje Materiałowe)

Save the date!

📍 30 August 2026 | 11:00–14:00
CIC Warsaw, Chmielna 73 (Foyer/Garage), Warsaw

This August, we’re bringing an unprecedented event to the heart of Warsaw: an open day showcasing the work of three pioneering Polish material innovators.

From chocolate-based leather and locally produced hemp textiles to responsibly sourced natural latex, this event offers a rare opportunity to experience these materials up close, meet the people behind them, and explore the role they could play as the fashion industry navigates its transition.

The programme will also feature a series of power speeches and a panel discussion:

Innovation, Craftsmanship and Circularity – How Close Is Fashion to Becoming Truly Sustainable?

Together with our speakers, we’ll tackle one of fashion’s most challenging questions: what does sustainability actually require beyond simply producing less? We intentionally use the word sustainability in its broadest sense—as the pursuit of balance between the wellbeing of people, animals, the planet, and economically viable businesses.

Whether you’re a designer, fashion brand, student, industry professional or simply curious about the future of materials, we invite you to join us in Warsaw for an afternoon of conversation, discovery and networking.
