We don’t want to sound all doom and gloom, but heatwaves are becoming the norm. If you’re about to buy a new item or two, choose something that will serve you well – and last for at least a few years.
When you think heatwave, think breathable fabrics, preferably coloured with plant-based or non-toxic dyes. While organic and regenerative cotton are always a good choice, we’re certainly skipping conventional silk in favour of plant-based alternatives and, of course, our personal favourites: linen and hemp.
Wherever possible, let’s support brands that are actively championing transparency, reducing their environmental impact, and contributing to social and environmental wellbeing around the world.
